Though the only goal didn’t help the White-Blues to salvage a draw it gave Serhiy confidence.
- The game was rather interesting. Dynamo started it really great. Anderlecht could hardly cross the midfield line for twenty minutes. I can’t say goals we conceded were absurd. These were results of our mistakes.
- Considering the possession Dynamo controlled the game. Was it Serhiy Rebrov’s plan?
- Coaches want us to play attacking football, but when we lose the ball we must try to dispossess opponents at once. That’s what Atletico Madrid did last season, for example.
- What are your main duties on the pitch?
- We had two insides as we played against Anderlecht. Our tasks are to rush into free space, to find forwards with straight passes.
- Dynamo tactics has changed…
- Our basic formation is 4-1-4-1, but there are many different variations we can use when necessary.
- Analyzing your play experts mention a lot of fouls you commit. Is that what you are to work on?
- I guess I often commit fouls because of my emotions. I try to act in cold blood and hope that such problem won’t occur again.
- What do you think of the Ukrainian Premier League new format?
- Some teams will lose motivation long before the end of the season. Anyway my task is to play, but not to define the league format.
