Dynamo Kyiv kept their winning streak alive Saturday afternoon as they beat Ukrainian Premier League newcomers FC Sevastopol 3-0 to earn their third consecutive top-flight win this season.
After a scoreless first half, the White-Blues broke the deadlock early in the second period when Andriy Yarmolenko headed home a cross from his fellow Roman Zozulya. It was soon 2-0 as Dynamo defender Taras Mykhalyk found the back of the net with a strong kick from 25 meters for his first goal of the season. The White-Blues made sure of victory when Dynamo captain Andriy Shevchenko, who remained active and looked dangerous throughout the match, headed the third on 77 minutes.
It is also worth noting that two first-team players – Artem Kravets and Badr El Kaddouri – made their long-awaited comeback from injuries as they came on as second-half substitutes.
