Almost every site has praised Yarmolenko. As for other players there were different opinions.
Football.ua popular web portal has paid special attention to three Kyivans. Even though the White-Blues mostly attacked as they faced Chornomorets these performers are defenders Yevhen Khacheridi and Danilo Silva and of course winger Andriy Yarmolenko.
Danilo Silva
“Serhiy Rebrov usually uses Danilo Silva as centre back, but recent matches prove that he can benefit the team more as right lateral. He participated in lots of attacks as Dynamo opposed Chornomorets.
Interesting fact. Silva’s opponent on the right flank Balashov tried to elude Dynamo players nine times, but didn’t manage to do that at least once (that wasn’t only Danilo)”.
Yevhen Khacheridi
“Khacheridi wasn’t supposed to play due to injury, but he took the field and proved to be ideal defender for such matches. It’s hardly possible for anyone to elude Yevhen.
Interesting fact. Khacheridi performed 16 attempts to dispossess opponents, 14 of which were a success”.
Andriy Yarmolenko
“The game against Chornomorets wasn’t ideal for Dynamo attack. Still even in such situation Yarmolenko was the best player on the field and constantly created chances.
Interesting fact. Yarmolenko succeeded in scrimmage 17 times out of 21”.
UA-football.com. all-star team looks absolutely different. It has only one Dynamo player – Oleh Husiev.
Oleh Husiev (1st time in all-star team)
“The White-Blues versatile halfback keeps serving his club faithfully. At first the game against Chornomorets wasn’t a success for Kyivans. Under such circumstances Husiev’s goal early in the second half was of great importance. Oleh has great speed, so he can “explode” and use his chance”.
Matchday.ua all-star team is more predictable. It also includes Danilo Silva and Andriy Yarmolenko.
Danilo Silva
“Dynamo Brazilian lateral didn’t have much defensive work in the match against Chornomorets, so he attacked actively instead. He performed some good crosses and earned several set pieces.
Andriy Yarmolenko
“Dynamo had to work hard as Chornomorets whole squad worked for defense. Kyivans coped with the task only due to creativity. Usually Yarmolenko was its source. He found Husiev with fabulous pass after which Oleh opened the score”.
Football club has also included only one Dynamo player into the all-star team – Andriy Yarmolenko. On the other hand our winger already has 11 such “call-ups” which is the UPL record.
Andriy YARMOLENKO (11th time in all-star team)
“Dynamo key player keeps setting new records in number of call-ups to our all-star team. Andriy’s individual skills often are Kyivans’ decisive argument when opponents fight against them as in the last battle. Assist for Burda in the match against Olimpik and great pass to Oleh Husiev, who opened the score in the game against Chornomorets, are traits of true leader”.
Footboom.com has also picked only Yarmolenko.
Andriy Yarmolenko
“Kyivans’ tireless winger demonstrates his class even when opponents don’t let him work with the ball too long. Yarmolenko feels in his element in such matches. In the game against Chornomorets Andriy unleashed some good shots, performed an assist for Husiev, and took a corner after which Teodorczyk scored. He was everywhere”.
