A day after the match against FC Tavriya Simferopol, Dynamo players and coaching staff took a long-awaited vacation. There’s a whole month at their disposal to take a rest and summon up fresh energy. As usual, players spend their vacation in different places around the world.
Brazilians Leandro Almeida, Gérson Magrão and Betão decided to spend the winter holidays with relatives in their homeland. In their opinion, Brazilian beaches are the best in the world.
Oleksandr Shovkovskyy and his wife Olga will spend two weeks in the Seychelles. Keen on scuba diving, Dynamo goalkeeper has a great chance to explore the beauty of the underwater kingdom as these islands boast one of the best dive sites in the world. His colleague Stanislav Bogush and Serhiy Kravchenko, who can join FC Dnipro this winter, gave preference to the United Arab Emirates.
The Maldives is probably the most popular vacationing place among Dynamo players this winter. Oleksandr Aliyev, Oleh Husyev, Artem Kravets all have chosen this destination. Dynamo captain Artem Milevskyy has flown to the United States. For the second year in succession the player visits Miami.
Meantime, Dynamo defenders Yevhen Khacheridi, Taras Mykhalyk and Andriy Nesmachnyy decided to stay in Ukraine. Yevhen spends his holidays in native Melitopol, while Taras and Andriy enjoy picturesque landscapes of Western Ukraine.
A full squad will gather at the Koncha-Zaspa training center on 13 January 2010. Valeriy Gazzaev's men will have a three-day medical check-up prior to heading off to Caesarea, Israel, for the first winter training camp.
