By getting a convincing victory over their Crimean opponents, the White-Blues made it one step closer and strolled into the last 4 of the domestic Cup.
In Kyiv, Tavriya proved their reputation of sitting back in the defense and mischievous tradition of poor away display was not broken. As early as on 2 minutes, their defense was shattered and Bangoura headed in a cross from the flank.
The current Cup holders did not quicken their pace here, creating no tension near the opponents’ goal. Bangoura and Marković had some dangerous efforts on goals, but it was Husyev who sent in a second.
