Taras Mykhavko: “It’s a shame I hit my own goal, I’ll try to hit opponents’”

FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Taras Mykhavko has shared his impressions of 5:1 win against FC Obolon Kyiv:

- Of course it’s nice to win. It was Kyiv derby and we were focused. It’s a shame I hit my own goal, I’ll try to hit opponents’ in future.

- Did teammates support you?

- Sure, they said it’s fine and I should just forget about it. I score in the fourth consecutive game including international matches – two against opponents and two own goals.

- Although Obolon are close to the bottom of the table they didn’t just defend early in the game. Did you expect that?

- We watched their games, so we know they play decent football. They tried to attack, so the game was interesting. We used our chances and could score even more.

- When did you get confident about your win?

- I guess in the second half, after the 60th minute, but we wanted to score as many as possible.

- Was the game spectacular, in your opinion?

- Sure, it was. Home side tried to cause troubles. We scored a lot, so I guess fans are satisfied.

- Is it difficult to switch to club affairs after international break?

- Of course it is. But it’s the time on the road that exhausts the most. We had only one joint session after I came back – yesterday. But that’s fine.

- Next week will be very intense for Dynamo as you’ll face Roma in the Europa League and Shakhtar in the UPL. Have you considered that?

- Not yet. We were focused on the game against Obolon. Tomorrow we’ll focus on Roma and upcoming matches.

- Have you seen any Roma games?

- Sure. I watched the first games of Dovbyk for the team. But I didn’t watch much lately.
