The White-Blues arranged this game with charitable purpose – to help Bucuresti side gather enough money to pay for the Liga I license. The initiator of the match was Kyivans’ gaffer Mircea Lucescu as Dinamo Bucuresti are his native club, where he started his career.
Visitors played in special shirts with “Thank you, Dynamo Kyiv!” inscription on them. Dinamo sold about 30 thousand of virtual tickets for this match.
Beside charity element, this game was beneficial for our team as it was an opportunity for players to get game practice as the international break is on.
Mircea Lucescu used some performers in unusual positions. For example, Tomasz Kedziora and Olexandr Andriyevskyi started the match as centre backs. Carlos de Pena was a right winger while Denys Harmash – forward.
The first goal of the game was scored by Clayton. De Pena performed incisive pass to Harmash, Denys eluded goalkeeper and passed to the Brazilian, who hit the open goal.
Late in the first half the White-Blues doubled the score. Olexandr Tymchyk found Bohdan Liedniev in front of the box and the latter made it 2:0.
After the break some youngsters took the field – Vikentiy and Nazar Voloshyn, Vladyslav Vanat. Later the number of young performers on the field increased rapidly.
In a stoppage time Kyivans scored the third one. Nazar Voloshyn took a corner and Danylo Khondak headed the ball in.
