Comparing with the previous game only four performers preserved their positions in the starting lineup: Mykola Moroziuk, Vitaliy Buialskyi, Derlis Gonzalez and Artem Hromov. The match started very intensively. At first Buialskyi netted the ball and in a minute Jonathan Cafu equalized for Ludogorets.
Generally Kyivans controlled the game while Bulgarian side tried to use counterattacks.
13 minutes into the game Derlis Gonzalez was injured and left the field. Before the break Dynamo created several opportunities, but Serhiy Sydorchuk and Junior Moraes missed.
Late in the first half Ludogorets Romanian defender Cosmin Moți got second booking and was sent off.
After the break Serhiy Miakushko made a substitute appearance and acted pretty effectively. Nikita Korzun controlled the midfield. This time Serhiy Rebrov used two strikers – Olexandr Hladkyi and Lukasz Teodorczyk.
72 minutes into the game Korzun put a low cross to Hladkyi, who missed the ball, after which Artem Besedin made the score 2:1.
