Tomasz Kedziora: “I’ll always remember my goal against Rennais”

- Tomasz, how has your daily routine changed considering the quarantine?

- It has changed a lot. We can’t play football or have group sessions. I’ve been recovering from injury lately, but fortunately now I’m fine. I’ve already had the first training session with the ball. I was very committed to recovery process.

- Where do people love football more, in Ukraine or in Poland?

- It’s hard to say. In Poland more people come to domestic league games. But I think they love football in both countries.

- Do you already feel half Ukrainian?

- No, I’m hundred per cent Polish.

- You often say that you like Kyiv. What exactly do you like about the city?

- It’s a very beautiful city. Besides, living in Kyiv I play for the best team in Ukraine. I’m very glad to be here. There are a lot of nice places in Kyiv.

- Fans often recall your goal against Rennais. What did you feel back then?

- I was happy to score. I guess I’ll always remember my goal against Rennais.

- Which games are the most memorable for you?

- The Super Cup against Shakhtar, that match against Rennais, battles against AEK and Olympiacos in the Europa League.

- Who’s Dynamo best player at the moment?

- I think they are Viktor Tsyhankov and Benjamin Verbic.

- Who’s the best in Dynamo history?

- Oleh Blokhin, Andriy Shevchenko, Serhiy Rebrov, our coach Olexiy Mykhailychenko.

- Can you describe Mykhailychenko as a person?

- He’s a very kind person and good coach. He has his own vision and our task is to stick to his plan.

- Can you tell some funny joke from Dynamo locker-room?

- There are a lot of funny episodes, but I can’t tell everything. Are they related to Harmash? When he starts talking it’s already funny sometimes.

- Name your top 5 right backs.

- It’s hard to pick 5. I’ll name Lukasz Piszczek from Borussia Dortmund, Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool and Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United.

- Is there a player you look up to?

- No. I follow Lukasz Piszczek, but generally one should be focused on himself and move forward.

- Do you shape up intellectually?

- I do. I speak Russian and understand Ukrainian. I have pretty good English. I read books when I have time – mostly players’ autobiographies, Polish books and Stephen King.

- What would you like to wish supporters?

- Stay home and hang in. It’s a tough time, but I think everything will be fine. I leave home only to do groceries or to go to the training complex.
