The true hero of the game was FC Dynamo Kyiv winger Andriy Yarmolenko, who hit the target 33 (100th goal in his career), 53 and 56 minutes into the match.
Serhiy Sydorchuk assisted Andriy as he completed a hat trick. This midfielder was in the starting lineup and played till the final whistle just like centre back Yevhen Khacheridi.
At the moment Yarmolenko has 18 goals for the Yellow-Blues to his name (45 appearances). He is Ukraine second best striker ever while Serhiy Rebrov is third (15 goals).
- This is my first hat trick and I’m happy! The turf was terrible. I can’t say that everything is ideal for us. Even after two previous matches we won we were criticized a lot. Anyway we still have what to work on, - stated Yarmolenko after the game.
