Ukraine's men earned a 1-0 win against Norway in a friendly match on Wednesday. Ukraine coach Oleksiy Mykhailychenko fielded an experimental starting lineup, which included five debutants - Stanislav Bogush (Dynamo Kyiv), Oleh Krasnopyorov (Vorskla Poltava), Marko Devic, Serhiy Valyayev and Valentyn Slyusar (all from Metalist Kharkiv). The only goal of the game came from the penalty spot in the 26th minute with Yevhen Seleznyov securing the win for the home side. Ten minutes into the second half, the visitors were reduced to ten men with John Arne Riise sent off for unsporting behaviour.
