Ukraine U-21 recovered from conceding an early goal to gain a 1-3 victory in a friendly match with Poland U-21. After going behind to a goal from Wodecki on three minutes, Ukrainian team managed to fight back thanks to efforts from forwards Evhen Konoplyanka and Volodymyr Lysenko. Evhen's equaliser in the 11th minute was followed by Volodymyr's strong shot into the net. Pavlo Yakovenko's lads continued to press forward after the restart and scored their third goal in the 49th minute, with Lysenko again on target.
