Ukraine (U-21) reach the Valeriy Lobanovskyy Memorial final!

Ukraine Under-21 booked their place in the final of the Valeriy Lobanovskyy Memorial tournament in Kiev after defeating their Iranian coevals 2-1. Dynamo forward Roman Zozulya put the home side ahead with just half an hour gone and although the visitors pulled one back from the penalty spot on 38 minutes, Volodymyr Lysenko's strike with 83 minutes on the clock proved ultimately decisive. 

In the final the Blue-Yellows are to face their Turkish colleagues, who appeared to be stronger than the Germany Under-21 team − 3:1. The match will take place on Wednesday 12 August at the Lobanovskyy Dynamo stadium in Kyiv, kicking-off at 16h00.
