Ukrainian Cup: two debuts in one match

Dynamo players Andriy Sakhnevych and Frank Temile made their first-team debut in the Ukrainian Cup encounter against FC Stal (Alchevsk) on Wednesday. Sakhnevich has played all 90 minutes in the defensive position, while the Nigerian forward Temile came off the bench in the 88th minute to replace Mykola Morozyuk.

Andriy Sakhnevych was born in Zhytomyr on 17 April 1989. He took up playing football in his native city. Later on the promising talent accepted the invitation from Dynamo Kyiv. In the 2007/2008 season he played in 26 matches for Dynamo-3 and scored 2 goals.

Nigerian forward Frank Temile joined Dynamo this summer. Frank began his football career in Nigeria with Covenant F.C. Lagos and Shooting Stars F.C. In 2006 he moved to Malta and signed professional terms with Valleta FC but his association with the club lasted just one season before he moved to Ukraine to join FC Dynamo on a five-year contract. Aged only 17, he was nominated for three prestigious awards in the Malta Football Awards. These are Best Forward, Most Promising Player and Best Foreign Player. Moreover he managed to win all these three prizes.
