The game will start at 19:30.
Dynamo: limited time for preparation
During the pause in UPL, which lasted two weeks, 12 Dynamo players performed for their national teams.
Of course this fact has influenced the White-Blues preparation for the game against FC Metalist Kharkiv. Dynamo head coach Oleh Blokhin has stated: “It’s a pleasure that we have a lot of international players in our team, but it also creates difficulties for us”.
During the pause Kyivans played friendlies against Dynamo-2 and Ukraine U-21.
Olexandr Shovkovskyi, Heorhiy Bushchan, Yevhen Selin and Denys Harmash haven’t recovered from injuries yet. As for right back Danilo Silva – he is ready to play.
The forthcoming match is very important for Dynamo.
Metalist: comfortable conditions
Unlike Dynamo Metalist have only two international players: Edmar and Devic. Thus Markevych’s men had a full-scale preparation for the game against Kyivans.
The pause was useful for Kharkiv side as Azavedo and Sosa had time to recover. Besides Metalist played friendly against FC Dinamo Moscow. In that game experienced defender Berezovchuk (pictured) picked up an injury.
Face to face
Dynamo have already faced Metalist 34 times within the UPL (W-24, D-5, L-5). Goal difference is 70-27 for Kyivans.
In Kharkiv the White-Blues won 13 games and suffered two defeats. Two more games ended in a draw (goal difference – 36:13).
