Four Dynamo players took the field among first eleven: Yevhen Khacheridi, Denys Harmash, Oleh Husiev and Andriy Yarmolenko. Yevhen Selin, who represented FC Vorskla Poltava at that moment, also participated in that game. The head coach of the team was Oleh Blokhin!

Despite the fact that 7 Dynamo representatives took the field against Moldova, Ukrainians didn’t manage to grab the winner.

The Yellow-Blues conceded the goal right before the break. In the second half they didn’t manage to equalize the score. Four Dynamo players were in the squad.

Goals: Piszczek (18) – Yarmolenko (2), Husiev (7), Zozulia (45+1)

Mykhailo Fomenko became the new head coach of our national team. He chose Volodymyr Onyshchenko and Olexandr Zavarov as his assistants.

Two minutes into the game Yarmolenko netted the first goal of the match and fife minutes later Husiev doubled the score. Right before the break Yarmolenko assisted Zozulia who scored the third goal for Ukraine.

Goals: Yarmolenko (61), Khacheridi (71) – Suvorov (80)

61 minutes into the match Yarmolenko scored from the box. Later Khacheridi doubled the score with a header.

07.06.2013. Podgorica. Podgorica City Stadium. 15,300 spectators

Montenegro – Ukraine – 0:4 (0:0)

Goals: Harmash (51), Konoplianka (77), Fedetskyi (82), Bezus (90+3)

The win in Podgorica was vital for Ukraine.

11 minutes after the break Montenegro keeper parried Yarmolenko’s long-range shot and Harmash, who grabbed the ball, opened the score. After that Yarmolenko assisted Konoplianka and Fedetskyi who scored one goal each. Eventually Bezus scored in the stoppage time.
