After he finished his career Chanov left football arena for a while. Still in 2006 he returned to the native club as goalkeeper coach and worked for a year. After that he focused on his business. Viktor has told our site journalist about his occupation and birthday celebration:
- Thank you for congratulations. What do I do? I’m still the CEO of my company. I don’t have health problems. Recently my son got married.
As for my birthday, Maccabi Haifa president congratulated me at 6 a.m. There were a lot of congratulations. I’m going to celebrate with my family on Saturday. I guess former teammates will call me to.
