- I did what I could, though I wanted to play better.
- What did Blokhin tell you to do before you took the field?
- I was to struggle for the ball and to play for attack confidently.
- Were you upset not to be on players’ list for the first game against Spartak Moscow?
- I wasn’t. I know that I must keep working. If I match the main team requirements I’ll have game practice. It’s a normal process.
- In three days Dynamo will face Zenit again? Will this game differ from the first one?
- I don’t think that our play will change rapidly. We’ll hold to our pre-season preparation plan. Maybe Zenit will change something.
- Is it unusual for you to have a training camp in Kyiv and to be able to meet your families?
- It’s okay for me as I’ve got used for training camps in Kyiv as I worked with the reserve team. For older players it must be good as they can spend time with their families.
- Do you agree with the statement that the Joint tournament games will influence coaching staff decision as for the main squad players?
- I guess so. Joint tournament gives coaching staff an opportunity to estimate every player.
- Is it a good sign that you and Makarenko are still in the main team?
- It’s up to the head coach. I’ll do my best to match the level of Dynamo Kyiv.
