During the open media training session held in Koncha-Zaspa Dynamo head coach Yuriy Semin commented on the team’s preparation to the upcoming season and to the Super Cup match.
- Yuriy Pavlovich, what can you say about new players of the team?
- I’m very glad that they have joined Dynamo. Betão and Vukojević participated in friendly games in the Austrian training camp. You will see them in the Super Cup match too.
- What is the atmosphere inside the team like?
- The atmosphere is excellent. The newcomers were met with support. They have good relationships with their new partners. So, I'm sure we’ll strengthen our team in this way.
- What do you expect from the Super Cup match against Shakhtar Donetsk?
- First of all, the strongest teams of Ukraine will struggle to win this trophy. This game is going to be very interesting and thrilling. Hopefully, fans of both clubs will enjoy this match. It is very important for us to win but it depends not only on us. It depends on both teams.
- What can you say about Dynamo opponents in the qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League?
- There are no weak opponents at this stage. Underestimation of our rivals can lead to a negative result. We will find out more about these teams with the help of our coaches, who are going to visit their games.
- Have you decided who is going to play in the Super Cup match?
- Best prepared footballers will be on the pitch July 15th.
- Will you invite some other players to your team?
- Lots of changes took place recently. Some players have left Dynamo, others are on loan to other football clubs. Meanwhile only three new players have signed the contract with us. If we find some footballers to play in the team's problem positions, we'll definitely invite them.
- Will Lysenko go on loan to Arsenal Kyiv?
- We haven’t discussed this question. We have time to make a decision. Anyway there are many forwards in our team but only two of them take part in the games.
- Is Okoduwa already a full member of the team? Can we say that the conflict connecting with Metallurg Donetsk is solved?
- I have no idea about this conflict. I don’t think there’s some reason for a conflict.
