A traditional pre-match press conference was held in Istanbul on Monday, September 29. Dynamo coach Yuriy Semin and the team captain Oleksandr Shovkovskyy talked to media representatives regarding the UEFA Champions League Group G tie Fenerbahçe vs. Dynamo Kyiv.
Yuriy Semin, Dynamo head coach:
- In your opinion, do you have enough information about Fenerbahçe?
- I hope so. My assistant Sergey Ovchinnikov was present at Fenerbahçe's last match. Besides, we have seen their previous games on tape. However, it will be hard to surprise an experienced coach like Aragonés.
Unfortunately, some of our players are injured - Artem Milevskyy and Ayila Yussuf will miss this important encounter. Nevertheless, all players of our team are aware of their quality. I'm sure they will make every effort to end this bad run without a win in the group stage.
Oleksandr Shovkovskyy, Dynamo goalkeeper:
- First of all I would like to say that it was always very interesting to play with Fenerbahçe, especially in away matches. They have really fantastic support from their fans. But the most important is not to focus our attention on the atmosphere at the stadium. We have to do our utmost to snatch victory.
