Dynamo head coach Yuriy Semin visited Barclay Premier League match between Stoke City and Liverpool (1:0) on Saturday to learn more about Dynamo’s UEFA Europa League group stage opponents at first hand.
- Stoke City are currently among the leaders of Barclays Premier League. They are a very dangerous and difficult side with physically strong players and well-organised defense. Besides, they are very good at set-pieces. So, their positive results in this season’s championship are absolutely logical.
- Who do you think is the leader of the team?
- They have signed forward Peter Crouch... I don’t think they have a leader as their main strength is their collective play.
- What can you say about the Britannia Stadium?
- It’s a very good stadium with nice audience and great atmosphere. It is always packed with fans during Stoke City’s home games. Stoke-on-Trent is a small city. That is why it feels as if all its dwellers come to the stadium to cheer on their team.
