Dynamo coach Yuriy Semin and the team captain Oleksandr Shovkovskyy held their traditional pre-match press conference the day before a Group G encounter against FC Arsenal (London).
Yuriy Semin, Dynamo head coach:
- Twenty-one players arrived in London. Tomorrow we'll make our decision concerning the starting line-up for the match. Unfortunately, we're missing injured defender Taras Mykhalyk, but the rest of the squad is ready for tomorrow’s clash.
Our group is quite difficult. Every team take points and every match is as tough as this one. Nevertheless, everything depends on the players as they have to give 100 per cent effort to the cause.
- Have you seen Arsenal’s last league game - a 3-0 loss against Manchester City?
- Yes, we’ve seen their league games against both Manchester City and Aston Villa. I’m sure we have enough information about our opponents.
Oleksandr Shovkovskyy, Dynamo captain:
- It’s always interesting to compete against teams like Arsenal, as they are one of the favourites in the English Premier league. However, our players are determined produce a big performance for our supporters and for our future in the competition.
