Dynamo – Valencia. After-match press-conference
Yuriy Semin, Dynamo Kyiv head coach:
- The draw hasn't been kind to us as Valencia are a very strong side. They got the first goal and if they had scored a second it would have been all over for us. In our case, the real intrigue will remain until we meet again in Valencia.
- Don’t you think that Valencia have not shown all their strength today?
- Valencia is a top quality team and they have top-class players in their squad. We all saw their ability to control the ball. However, my team had good chances to win, but we just lacked a bit of luck in taking the lead.
Unai Emery, Valencia CF head coach:
- I think it was a very even match. Dynamo were doing well in attack but we were lucky to score an early goal. In my opinion it was the deserved result.
- What can you say about Cesar’s injury?
- For now I can't say anything for sure, but as I know Cesar complained of pain in his knee.
- Are you satisfied with your team’s display?
- Basically, I am content with team’s performance because an away draw is a quite positive result, especially taking into account the quality of our opponents. My team played really well. We created a few chances and got one goal. We still need to improve defensively.
