They followed six sparrings at the training camp in Austria. Still those games were only part of the training process, so defining the best player of the month we took into account only official fixtures.
This is the Ukrainian Super Cup against FC Shakhtar Donetsk (0:2) and UPL matches against FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk (2:1) and FC Olimpik Donetsk (2:0).
As you know, fans vote for best performer after each game on FC Dynamo Kyiv Fan-club Vkontakte page.
So, let’s have a look at July laureates.
3rd place. Aleksandar DRAGOVIC
Last season Aleks became Dynamo best player in February-March which is a significant achievement considering that he’s a centre back.
Supporters chose him as the man of the match for Ukrainian Super Cup Kyivans lost. In the UPL matchday 2 game against Olimpik he was sent of for two bookings.
Still Serhiy Rebrov didn’t have claims to his red card as Aleks got it trying to stop opponents.
2nd place. Andriy YARMOLENKO
It’s a usual practice for Andriy to be among Dynamo best players. Last season he became #1 five times out of eight.
In July Yarmolenko participated in all three matches and wasn’t substituted a single time. He scored against Olimpik and that goal turned out to be the decider.
1st place. Junior MORAES
Dynamo best player in July is Brazilian newcomer Junior Moraes.
After training camp with the White-Blues he fit in with our team. Of course the fact that coaches believe in him is of great importance. He started every July match in the starting lineup. As Kyivans faced Olimpik he performed assist and then scored his first goal for the legendary club.
Anyway it seems that was only the start as Junior isn’t going to stop.
