He has commented upon this news and about the Europa League round of 32 knockout stage drawing.
- Artem, where are you spending your vacation and how are you going to celebrate the New Year’s Eve?
- Right now I’m in Dubai with my wife Anna. We are going to celebrate her birthday here on December 21. As for New Year’s Eve, we’ll spend it in Kyiv.
- Did you follow Dynamo matches during your loan move at FC Arsenal Kyiv? What can you say about the White-Blues play?
- Of course I followed Dynamo play. I think that things started getting better towards the end of the year. Now there is a chance to struggle for Premiership, Ukrainian Cup and success in Europa League.
- Dynamo president Ihor Surkis has informed that you are coming back to the team. Have you talked to him?
- We had a talk as Arsenal bankrupted. I’m very thankful for his support. I’ll do my best to express my gratitude to him and fans!
- What is your psychological state after Arsenal collapse? Where did you train after that?
- It’s a pity that such a good team has disappeared. Anyway Arsenal let me feel confidence and now I’m ready for competing. As for training sessions, I worked with Dynamo-2.
- You are likely to go to the training camp with Dynamo. Will it be a good chance to become first team regular?
- It will be a good chance and I’ll do whatever it takes to help Dynamo.
- You worked with the team at summer training camp, but after that Oleh Blokhin didn’t count on you in official fixtures. Did he tell you what you should work on?
- Before the training camp he told that it was all in my hands. Still there were two more strikers in Dynamo and I decided to play on loan. I wanted to regain confidence.
- What relations do you have with Dynamo head coach? Can you win his trust?
- Oleh Blokhin is a good coach. One can win trust only with a help of hard work. I’m ready to use my chance.
- You are to compete for the starting spot against Brown Ideye and Dieumerci Mbokani. What can you say about these players?
- They are very good forwards. Still I’m sure that I’m able to compete against them. As I return to Kyiv, I’ll start preparing for the training camp.
- Do you want to stay in Dynamo or maybe you have transfer offers from other teams?
- There are some offers from Ukrainian and European clubs, but I don’t want to think about leaving Dynamo. I’ll discuss my future with Ihor Surkis as I totally trust him.
- What are your impressions of the Europa League round of 32 drawing? In what conditions will Valencia be in February and can Dynamo outplay them?
- It will be interesting to face Spanish side. Today they aren’t as good as they were when we faced them previous time, but still Valencia are good team. Anyway Dynamo have a chance to qualify for the next stage.
- Doesn’t current situation remind you the one which took place five years ago when Dynamo faced Valencia in February?
- Of course it does. We’ll play the first leg in Kyiv again. Still a lot has changed since then.
- Speaking about forthcoming fixtures against Valencia they often recall your name as Kyivans outplayed Spanish side due to two goals you scored at Mestalla. Would you like to take the field against Valencia again?
- That success was desert of the whole team. I’d like to defeat such opponent again. I have a great desire to feature against Valencia.
- Your help may be especially necessary as Andriy Yarmolenko and Dieumerci Mbokani will miss the first leg because of suspension…
- It’s very bad that the leader of the team Andriy Yarmolenko will miss the first game. He is a very important performer for Dynamo. I hope this problem will be solved. As for me, I won’t let the head coach down if he gives me a chance me play!
