After knee injury and surgery he was undergoing rehabilitation in France and Belgium for some time.
The final stage of recondition course takes place in Ukraine. Mbokani has told the White-Blues official web site about his conditions and when he’ll be able to play:
- Thank you, I feel great. I’ve been working with physical trainer Vitaliy Kulyba for two weeks already and now I’m in good conditions.
- How long did your rehabilitation in France last and what was it like?
- I worked physically a lot and did special exercises. I was under care of highly qualified doctors for about a month.
- How did Dynamo doctors estimate your conditions after you returned to Kyiv?
- I guess everything is fine for me. It’s expected that on Saturday I’ll rejoin the rest of the team.
- How did you actually work in Kyiv? What restrictions did you have?
- I’ve been working almost without restrictions for two weeks already. I don’t feel any discomfort or pain.
- How long will it take you to take the field or at least be included to players’ list, in your opinion?
- Frankly speaking I’m ready to play even now. As I returned to Kyiv I talked to Serhiy Rebrov and coaching staff created individual program for me. I’ve fulfilled it. Maybe I’ll take the field in the next game.
- Did you miss football?
- Sure, I did. As I was working with the reserve team I was really willing to play as soon as possible.
- Dynamo have a newcomer – Teodorczyk. Have you already got acquainted?
- We haven’t as I’ve been working individually so far, so I just saw him at training sessions. Still I know he is a good striker.
- Will competition become more intense considering good conditions of Kravets?
- It’s not in my hands. Head coach renders all decisions. I must just work hard.
- Did you follow Dynamo matches when abroad? What do you think about first place in the UPL and Europa league standings?
- Of course I followed Dynamo games. These achievements make me proud. The club deserves that. Rebrov wants to reach ambitious goals and win trophies. I think he works really well.
- Injuries are always tough for players. Who supported you most of all?
- At first I was upset, but my family, friends and teammates supported me. That gave me confidence and motivation. Everything is fine now. Today my family is in Kyiv with me.
