The White-Blues starting lineup wasn’t surprising except for the position of left winger. The newcomer Carlos de Pena performed this role.
The first half was disappointing. Both sides played defensively and actually didn’t have worthy scoring opportunities.
After the break the game got more intense. Referee booked nine players. But still there were few scoring chances.
Shakhtar could grab the winner in a stoppage time. Burda fouled inside the box and referee awarded penalty for visitors, but Boiko cleared the shot of Moraes from the spot.
