Early in the game it became obvious that Greek side players are in better physical conditions.
Kyivans, who hadn’t had official games since December, started the match carefully. Maybe this is why they conceded the first goal 9 minutes into the game out of nothing. Hassan used the misunderstanding of Dynamo defenders and opened the score after assist from Fortounis.
The White-Blues managed to equalize 27 minutes into the match, due to the effort of Tomasz Kedziora first of all. Polish lateral reached the ball next to the face, put a low cross into the box and Buialskyi hit the target – 1:1!
Olympiacos had several really good chances after that and turned one of them into goal. Gil Dias put his team in front with a fabulous strike from distance.
Anyway, things changed after the break. Kyivans got more confident. Shaparenko and Tsyhankov had decent opportunities.
Eventually, 90 minutes into the match, Tsyhankov found Verbic inside the box and Benjamin hit the corner – 2:2!
Dynamo return home with good result. The decisive game will be played at the NSC Olimpiyskyi!
