In the first round game the White-Blues flattened Vasyl Kobin’s men 4:0. This time it took Kyiv side more efforts to succeed although eventually they scored several times again.
In the first half Dynamo controlled the situation on the field, had some dangerous attacks and shots, but failed to hit the target. In the 11th minute Mynai skipper Pyniashko handled the ball inside his box, but even upon checking VAR referee didn’t award penalty.
Later Shaparenko attempted after pass by Kedziora from the right side, but goalkeeper Popovich coped with the task.
Mynai had difficulties crossing the midfield, so ex-Dynamo forward Artem Milevskyi hardly obtained the ball.
Dynamo increased the speed and created more decent opportunities. At first Popovich saved the strike by Shaparenko from distance and then parried the attempt of Besedin he had after cross by de Pena. Buialskyi could score from inside the penalty area, but hit the bar.
Anyway, early in the second half Dynamo opened the score. Serhiy Sydorchuk hit the bottom corner after pass by Kedziora.
In the following attack Malepe committed desperate foul against Karavayev and was sent off. Carlos de Pena took the free kick and made it 2:0!
After that both sides made a number of substitutions. Dynamo could increase the lead as de Pena attempted after pass by Rodrigues, but at first Popovich parried the strike and then Shepelev failed to used follow-up properly.
Eventually Dynamo scored the third one – from the spot. By the way, the White-Blues had to take the shot twice. Popovich saved the shot by Besedin, but he left the goal line too early. Gerson Rodrigues took the second attempt and hit the corner.
