- I’ve spent nine months without football, but I’m happy I’ll come back soon. I’ve had a surgery. They implanted metal in my leg. Denmark had important games, so I agreed to do that. Maybe that was my mistake. Anyway, the worst is in the past already.
- How long will it take you to recondition?
- I hope I’ll be fine in 2-3 weeks. So far I do jogging and strength exercises. I’ll start working with the ball soon. I feel I’m getting better. I’m very close to full recovery.
- How do you maintain your mental health?
- At the moment I’m in a good mood as I know everything is getting fine. Of course previous nine months were the most difficult in my life. It was hard to see the team training and playing important games I knew I couldn’t help my teammates.
- Who was your major support?
- My parents and my sister. I’m very thankful to them. Now I have a roommate. He’s from Denmark and teaches me Russian. Besides, he also supports me a lot.
- Who’s your best friend in Dynamo?
- Carlos de Pena. We spend much time together. I also communicate with Kadiri and Fran Sol a lot. Actually all Dynamo players are awesome guys.
- Is there any progress in terms of your knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian? You have Instagram account and sometimes your posts are in Ukrainian.
- My language skills are getting better day by day as I hear Russian and Ukrainian all the time. There’re some difficulties, but I understand 50% of what they say to me. I also speak Russian a bit.
- Ukrainian is considered to be one of the most beautiful languages in the world. Do you agree?
- Totally. My father heard a Ukrainian song and was very impressed.
- Is it difficult for a Danish person to adapt to Ukraine?
- As for me, it was quite easy. I like Ukrainians’ mentality. You work a lot and know the true worth of things. It’s much easier to live in Denmark from economic point of view, but it spoils Danish society. You know that to earn something one must work hard. I really respect Ukrainians.
