The White-Blues right back Danilo Silva couldn’t take the field because of problems with his back.
In the first half the squad of our team looked as follows: goalkeeper – Maxym Koval, right back – Domagoj Vida, left back – Benoit Tremoulinas, centre backs – Yevhen Khacheridi and Aleksandar Dragovic. Miguel and Denys Harmash played in the midfield. Oleh Husiev and Jeremain Lens featured as wingers. Roman Bezus was a second forward and Brown Ideye – finisher.
It became quite clear at once that neither Dynamo nor Steaua were going to lose. Thus there was a lot of scrimmage on the pitch. The White-Blues created the major part of scoring chances with a help of counterattacks.
Romanian side most active attacking player was Federico Piovaccari.
After the break completely different Dynamo squad took the field: goalkeeper – Olexandr Rybka, centre backs – Ognjen Vukojevic and Vitaliys Yahodynskis, right back – Andriy Tsurikov, left back – Yevhen Makarenko. Serhiy Sydorchuk and Lukman Haruna played as supporting midfielders, Andriy Yarmolenko and Artem Kravets – as wingers. Younes Belhanda was a second forward and Dieumerci Mbokani – striker.
Though Kyivans controlled the ball they created few scoring chances. Steaua defenders acted very orderly. Thus the game ended in a goalless draw.
