- It’s +7 in Kyiv, how do you feel?
- Yes, it’s good there’s no snow and frost, so we don’t need to put a lot of clothes on.
- I mean the gap between Dynamo and Shakhtar in the league table.
- (smiling) That’s good too. The game wasn’t easy, especially the first half. After the break we increased the speed. We needed to score the opener as quickly as possible. Rukh did a good job. They defended orderly and had some decent attacks.
- Was this game more important than the one against Villarreal?
- Of course it wasn’t. There’re no unimportant matches, including friendlies. Coach won’t like it if we don’t do our best. We have no indifferent people in the team.
- Dynamo often do better in the second half. What’s the reason?
- Well, early in the game opponents aren’t tired, so they close space properly. After the break we increase the speed and score.
- Do you already think of the following match – against Oleksandria?
- Not yet as we’re joining the national team to play for our country, so we’re focused on that.
- How many braces have you scored in your career?
- This one was the third or the fourth. I’d been really looking forward to that as I couldn’t score for quite a while. Actually these are my first goals for Dynamo. There’s a lot of good stuff going on. I got a son recently, so everything is great.
- How did teammates congratulate you on the brace?
- Everyone was saying “Finally!”
- How did you call your son?
- Kyrylo. Will he play football? We’ll see. I want that, but it’s up to him (smiling).
