- In summer I got this job offer from the head coach of the team Olexandr Khatskevych. We’ve been acquainted since his internship at Bayern Munich. I was glad when he invited me as it’s an honor to work for the club with such history and traditions. I have significant experience of work for German clubs including Hoffenheim and Bochum, so I have a lot of plans I want to embody in Dynamo football school named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi.
- What kind of plans are those?
- I’m working with senior groups of players. This is the age when coaches should focus on their tactics skills. I think my main task is to introduce individual approach in training process and promote further progress of young performers. Besides we’re working on game philosophy including quick switch from defense to attack and vice versa.
- When Alberto Bosch was in charge of Dynamo football school, youngsters worked on the same game principles as the first team. That was the demand of Dynamo former head coach Serhiy Rebrov. Is it necessary, in your opinion?
- I don’t know Alberto Bosch personally, but I’ve heard a lot about his successful work in Dynamo. Last season trainees of our club won the Ukrainian Youth League in all age groups, U-21 and U-19 League! Although I have my own football vision, I agree that youngsters should get familiarized with game principles of the first team. That will help them adapt to grown-up football.
- In summer you were present at Dynamo training camp in Austria. Did you gain any experience there you can use working with kids?
- The training camp was really beneficial for me. It was a great opportunity to get acquainted with direction of the club, coaches and players, follow different aspects of the training process and learn more about Dynamo history and traditions. I often discussed game philosophy with Olexandr Khatskevych including ways if its introduction in youth school. I hope we’ll succeed together as DynamoAcademy has all the necessary elements for that.
