- I have good reminiscences of their play and communication with them.
Andriy Bal came to the front in 1977 as he won U-20 FIFA World Cup with USSR. I think he was a bit unlucky to join Dynamo when such players as Kuznetsov, Baltacha and Yakovenko performed for he team. Still Andriy was versatile, so he featured on those positions head coach told him to.
I saw Valentyn Belkevych for the first time as he played for FC Dinamo Minsk at CIS Cup in 1996. The following day delegation from Kyiv came to Moscow and when colleagues asked me whom they should pay special attention to I mentioned Belkevych and Khatskevych.
As for Andriy Husin, he wasn’t one of those players, who make a name for themselves as they are young. When he was 25 he decided to become a supporting midfielder though he used to be a forward. It was his decision. Valeriy Lobanovskyi just supported him.
Anyway these three were different people, but really decent.
