Comparing with the game against Stade Rennais FC on Thursday, there were two substitutions in the White-Blues starting lineup. Moroziuk and Shepelev replaced Kedziora and Tche Tche. Meanwhile Kadar took the field again after three-match suspension.
Visitors were very determined early in the game. At first Boriachuk attempted from outside the box and then Tyshchenko hit the post. Still gradually Dynamo took the situation under control. 33 minutes into the match Mykolenko put a low cross into the penalty area, goalkeeper parried the first shot of Shaparenko, but Mykola sent the ball into the net with a header. Fifth goal in four matches for him!
The White-Blues doubled the score quite early in the second half. Moroziuk put a low cross from the right wing and Verbic hit the far bottom corner. And then own goal by Chobotenko finished Mariupol off.
Late in the second half Bykov fouled against Shepelev inside the penalty area and referee awarded penalty for Dynamo. Tsyhankov converted from the spot – 4:0.
