Although this match couldn’t influence the league table, there still was full house at the stadium.
Both sides started the game aggressively. 16 minutes into the match Viktor Tsyhankov put a cross into the box from the corner flag and Benjamin Verbic headed the ball in – 1:0!
Seven minutes later visitors scored the equalizer. Kadar fouled against Kayode inside the box, referee awarded penalty for Shakhtar and Marlos hit the target.
After that Dynamo rushed forward even more actively while Shakhtar had dangerous counterattacks. Denys Boiko didn’t let Kayode put his team in front in one-on-one situation. In several minutes Artem Besedin hit the bar with a header after corner from Tsyhankov.
In the second half the White-Blues scored another one. Tomasz Kedziora put a low cross into Shakhtar penalty area, David Khocholava tried to clear the ball, but scored own goal.
75 minutes into the game really special event happened. Oleh Husiev made a substitute appearance. It was his last match for Dynamo…
Anyway, the final score is 2:1 for our team which is Dynamo third UPL win against Shakhtar this season.
