FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv away within the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 7.
Kharkiv side won two out of three previous home games, so the match wasn’t expected to be a laugher for Mircea Lucescu’s men.
Still the White-Blues took the situation on the field under control right away and started creating chances. Sydorchuk attempted from distance, goalkeeper parried the shot by Shkurin after cross from Andriyevskyi.
Although the match was goalless, it wasn’t boring at all. Kedziora hit the bar with a header after corner and then sent the ball into the net, but referee disallowed the goal as Syrota was flagged offside.
Anyway, Kyivans could concede too. After cross from the right side, Remeniuk obtained the ball inside the penalty area and hit the bar.
Soon after the break Dynamo opened the score. After cross from the right side, Shkurin found Tsyhankov and Viktor sent the ball into the far bottom corner – 0:1.
In a few minutes visitors doubled the score. De Pena performed accurate cross from the left side and Harmash was the first to reach the ball and make it 0:2.
Later Tsyhankov could increase the lead after pass from Shkurin, but this time goalkeeper coped with the strike. Anyway, Metalist 1925 also had scoring opportunities. Zubkov missed with a header after corner, Shershen tried to pull one back, but failed.
So, Dynamo win 2:0 and remain on the top of the league table.
