Start of tour in Khmelnytskyi
Last year FC Dynamo Khmelnytskyi stopped featuring in Ukrainian Second League because of financial problems. Thus football is a rather rare phenomenon on the pitch of Podillia Stadium. That’s why visit of Dynamo Kyiv pro veterans was long-awaited.
The White-Blues former players don’t lack social activism. The match in Khmelnytskyi was the start of their tour called “Dynamo pro veterans – for inseparable Ukraine!”.
Before the kick-off both teams honoured memory of people who died during protest movements.
Goal + assist from Oleh Salenko
The weather was rather windy, cold and rainy. Still it didn’t prevent performers from playing actively and scoring.
Goals for Dynamo were scored by Salenko and Pryzetko (pictured). Oleh has also got an assist to his name.
We are sole country and sole nation
The head of Dynamo pro veterans team Viktor Khlus has thanked organizers for the match: “I was surprised when our players agreed to play in Khmelnytskyi despite the fact that it’s a weekend. Dynamo pro veterans tour is dedicated to unity of Ukraine. We can’t be separated as we are sole country and sole nation”.
