- Younes, how was your vacation?
- It was great. I was in Morocco with my wife and son.
- Did you follow the World Cup?
- I did, but unfortunately I couldn’t watch every match.
- Whom do you support?
- France.
- Who is the Mundial favorite?
- The Netherlands.
- Almost all African teams still have a chance to get out of the group? What is their formula for success?
- They are more accustomed to such weather conditions. Besides today many African players feature in European leagues.
- You came to the training camp a bit later than other players. Did you work individually during vacation?
- We had a kind of “homework” for vacation. I’ve accomplished its major part, so I’m ready for the training camp.
- Dynamo have taken some young halfbacks to Austria. Are you ready to struggle for the starting spot again?
- It’s all up to the head coach. I’m fine with competing.
- Do you like changes in the training process introduced by Serhiy Rebrov?
- Sure, all players like that. It’s always more interesting to work with the ball than without it. Rebrov represents the new generation of coaches, so he knows what performers need.
- Late in the last season Dynamo and you personally improved the play. What was the reason for that?
- First of all the trust of Serhiy Rebrov helped me. It gave me additional motivation. When Oleh Blokhin was in charge of the team he could substitute me any moment and I lacked confidence.
- What do you want to achieve with Dynamo next season? What are your aims?
- Our aim is to win the Ukrainian Premier League. Last season we won the Ukrainian Cup. It would be great to triumph also in the domestic league and Super Cup.
- Will you take your wife and son to Ukraine? Where will they live in the nearest future?
- In Kyiv. That’s our home now!
