- We haven’t lost a single game we’ve had after the break for international fixtures. One should remember that. People follow European leagues and see that even such clubs as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United have problems. As for us, our key problem is about attacking line. We don’t score a lot, although our team had the best defense in the first part of UPL season. We can’t apply serious rotation. Our players do the best they can. We have tight schedule, but after the first round the gap between us and Shakhtar isn’t critical.
- But the competition in top leagues is much fiercer…
- Real Madrid have lost against Deportivo Alaves, for example. For some reason, people think Dynamo must smash everyone. We must take the reality as it is. Our performers have certain skills, but at the moment they’re quite mediocre.
- Speaking about players’ skills, it should be mentioned that many of them joined the team when you were the head coach already. Are they the best you could sign?
- Kedziora is a pretty good player. Verbic is our leader. Pivaric is a good defender. Everyone makes mistakes. As for Brazilians, they’re quite good, but they’ve faced certain difficulties as they didn’t have a training camp with us. For example, Sidcley isn’t ready to play for 90 minutes so far. They all need time. One day they’ll be ready.
