- Frankly speaking, we’ve demonstrated good play, but sometimes even that doesn’t let you win. So I think we shouldn’t be upset. We are getting ready for the season start and it’s obvious that our physical conditions are better than Shakhtar players’.
- Did you like Odesa fans?
- Everything was arranged on the highest possible level. I think Odesa is worth hosting UPL matches. The stadium and fans are great.
- How did you decide who would be the goalkeeper after Shovkovskyi was sent off?
- The player, who felt confidence, did that. Unfortunately Dragovic didn’t manage to clear the penalty.
- After you hit the post it seemed Dynamo slowed down a bit… Were you thinking about penalty shootout?
- I don’t think we slowed down. As for me, Shakhtar looked better in the first half and Dynamo – in the second.
- Don’t you feel upset?
- It’s always bitter to lose, but I’m proud of my team. We deserved victory and didn’t play worse than Shakhtar. Maybe we were even better in some aspects.
