Usually matches against Oleksandria are quite tough for the White-Blues. Kyivans won two previous home fixtures against this team only by one goal to nil each. This time the situation was especially intriguing as there were only three points between these two sides in the league table.
Comparing with the previous game against Shakhtar, Dynamo coach made three substitutions in the starting lineup. Boiko replaced Bushchan, Kadiri substituted suspended Popov and Andriyevskyi took the place of left winger instead of Verbic.
The White-Blues started the game very actively. At first Tsytaishvili attempted with a spectacular bicycle kick, and then, in the 14th minute, the score was opened. Kovalets fouled against Tsytaishvili inside the box and referee awarded penalty. Pankiv parried the shot by Buialskyi from the spot, but Kedziora was the first to obtain the ball. He passed to Buialskyi, who sent the ball into the net.
Five minutes later referee awarded the second penalty for Dynamo. Dubra fouled against Rusyn and Nazariy converted from the spot.
Then Oleksandria earned the right for a penalty as Kadiri committed a foul against Sitalo. Hrechyshkin made it 2:1.
Early in the second half Dubra was sent off for the second booking. After that visitors had only one scoring opportunity – when Zaderaka hit the bar from outside the box.
Dynamo attacked a lot which resulted in three more goals. At first Mykolenko netted the ball after cross by Buialskyi from the right side (third UPL goal for Vitaliy and all of them are against Oleksandria!) Then de Pena scored similar goal, but this time Kedziora assisted his teammate. And then Buialskyi got a brace to his name as he hit the corner with accurate strike.
So, it’s 5:1 for Dynamo. This win must give the White-Blues confidence before forthcoming games. The next one is away match against FC Zoria Luhansk.
