- What has prevented you from gaining at least one point?
- We didn’t aim for one point, we wanted to win. I guess in the first half we were a bit uptight because of the pressure. We lost the first half completely. Certain mistakes resulted in goals.
After the break guys played the way they can and should, but unfortunately they lacked concentration. We’ve made the battle for the second place even more complicated, but it’s all still in our hands. At the moment we are to focus on the Ukrainian Cup.
- Did Dynamo president Ihor Surkis cheer the team up after the game?
- Sure. He said we must move on as it’s all about the quality of our play. We have to win three UPL games and the cup final.
- The Ukrainian Cup final takes place in a couple of days. What are you going to do after two defeats in a row?
- You know we had a large group of injured and suspended players. We need to find balance in the lineup and our mental state.
- What do you think of the performance by Olexandr Syrota?
- I think he’s done a good job. He’ll be totally fine if he keeps this up.
