Today Dynamo is playing a friendly game with CFR Cluj, a Romanian football club from the city of Cluj-Napoca. Nevertheless, this match is going to be a real test for our footballers as our rival managed to win the Liga I and the Romanian Cup trophies this year.
CFR Cluj was founded in 1907. The club finished first in the 2007/2008 season, thus winning their first championship and becoming the first team outside of Bucharest to win Liga I in 17 years. Moreover, CFR Cluj won the Romanian Cup in a game against Unirea Urziceni. CFR Cluj will now take their place in the group stage of the 2008-09 UEFA Champions League season.
