Emil Caras: “It’s nice to work when it’s not too hot”

The assistant coach Emil Caras has told about the first day of work:

- We keep doing what we started in Kyiv. The weather is good here, a bit chillier than in Ukraine. We’ve already had the first training session.

Starting with tomorrow, we’ll be having two sessions of mixed type a day. Players don’t like to run without the ball, but it’s important to lay fitness foundation.

- Did they water the field before your session to make it “faster”?

- The turf is really good. Weather changes rapidly in Switzerland. Anyway, it’s nice to work when it’s not too hot. The field is wet and the ball slips properly.

- You have newcomers. How’re they getting accustomed?

- Yes, there’re a lot of new faces. Guys are doing their best. Sometimes they fail to do something, but that’s what we need training camps for. At theory classes Lucescu will tell what he expects from them. Youngsters have space for progress. Head coach hopes players will be doing what he wants them to.
