FC Dynamo Kyiv president has told about deserts of Viktor Petrovych and what kind of person he was like.
- Viktor Serebrianykov forged Dynamo glory. Even opponents admired his play. Free kicks, assists, goals… He was a very humble man. It’s bitter to lose such person. Serebrianykov was the soul of every Dynamo generation. He was present at every event our club held. He passed away so suddenly. His wife says that everything was fine in the morning and then… It’s another loss for FC Dynamo Kyiv.
- Andriy Biba has mentioned that it was very difficult for Dynamo player to earn the right to feature for the USSR national team. That means that Viktor Serebrianykov really excelled his competitors as he took part in three World Cups…
- Moscow didn’t respect Ukrainian players at that time, but Serebrianykov was so much better than other players that it was impossible not to call him up to the national team. We’ll cherish the memory of Viktor Petrovych.
