- I’m very glad, we’ve won. That’s extremely important, considering the battle for second place. Now we need to focus on the national cup match. We must keep this up to finish in the Champions League zone and win the Ukrainian Cup.
- Matches against Zoria are usually very dramatic for Dynamo…
- Zoria are very good team with competent coach. The game wasn’t easy for us today. When Zoria opened the score, they were doing better job than us. But then the situation changed. We made substitutions and started attacking. I think we’ve deserved this victory.
- You were one of three players, who made substitute appearances simultaneously. What was your task?
- We were one goal behind, so coach decided to refresh the attacking line. After Viktor, Ben and I took the field, we started attacking more. There were quite a lot of scoring chances.
- You celebrated your goal against FC Oleksandria in a special way…
- I dedicated the goal to my wife as I’m going to be a father soon. Of course that’s very important for every person. Anyway, scoring isn’t my major goal as first of all I care about results the whole team demonstrates.
- Did the weather have serious impact on the game?
- Sure, the turf was very wet after rain. It wasn’t really football weather, but we wanted to play till the end. We acted with great dedication late in the game and thus grabbed three important points.
- Your goal has turned out to be a decider…
- After that goal we took the game under control. We performed a good combination with Shepelev in that episode. He passed really well and I rushed into the box. Goalkeeper moved towards me and I tried to shoot past him.
