Mykola Mykhailenko: “I always dreamed to score for my native team”

Mykola Mykhailenko, who scored the first goal of the game against FC Karpaty Lviv (2:0), has shared his impressions.

- It was the first game after the winter break, but we got ready as we planned. We had quite a lot of chances although we didn’t use some of those.

- You’ve scored your first goal for Dynamo. How do you feel about it?

- I’m happy. I always dreamed to score for my native team. But what matters the most is that we’ve won.

- What do you think of the goal by Vanat?

- I think it’s fabulous. Top skill. The way he eluded the defender and scored means a lot.

- Ruslan Neshcheret, who became Dynamo #1 after Bushchan left, preserved a clean sheet…

- We believe in each other. Ruslan is a really good keeper, who can get even better.

- Before the game Karpaty gaffer said his team would play open football. Was it convenient for you?

- It’s always nice to oppose teams that don’t just park the bus, but try to play football.

- In a week you’ll face Vorskla. Will it be harder away?

- We all know Vorskla are really good team, but we only aim to win.
