Mohammed Kadiri: “The more versatile you are, the more you can benefit the team”

- Momo, how do you feel at this training camp?

- I really like our training sessions. Every player is doing his best. We want to be totally ready for official matches.

- Today players competed in shooting from outside the box. Do you like this exercise?

- This exercise is both exciting and beneficial. It’s important to practice this aspect of the game. Goals are what supporters want to see. Every player must be able to score.

- Besides, this exercise probably helps to relax and gives players some positive emotions…

- Sure, we make fun of each other as there are always winners and losers (smiling). Actually we have real snipers, who can easily score from outside the penalty area.

- This is what you demonstrated in the game against Borac…

- I have a pretty good shot. This isn’t the first time I score like this. In that episode I eluded my opponent after which the job was done. I saw the ball in the net before the shot.

- Dynamo win friendly games at this training camp very confidently. Do players already have good physical conditions?

- Yes, we work very effectively. Coaches explain us in detail how to move and score. We’re very focused on endurance. That helps us. That’s the way it should be. Personally I feel great.

- You’ve already played as supporting midfielder and centre back. Do you feel comfortable in both positions?

- I don’t have any problems with being a defender. I was a defender in Austria Wien and back in Ghana. In Arsenal Tula I was a midfielder. I can perform in both positions. I think a player should be versatile. The more versatile you are, the more you can benefit the team.

- Do you have any difficulties in terms of communication with teammates? Who are you best friends?

- My English isn’t perfect, so guys often laugh at what I say. But I think it’s good. We are like a family, so we should communicate and make fun of each other. Besides, everyone wants to kick me jokingly. I don’t know why, but everyone’s having fun, so I’m okay with that.

- Your teammates say you’re the funniest guy in the team. Is that true?

- I think it’s my talent too. I’ve always been joking with everyone. And everyone wants to kick me. I don’t know why. Maybe you want that too (laughing).

- Who else has such talent? Maybe, Heorhiy Bushchan?

- That’s right. We make jokes every day. Sometimes we even pretend we’re boxing. We have fun together.
