At first the game was supposed to take palace in Estepona, but the quality of the local stadium turf became unacceptable because of heavy rain. That’s why it was decided that the match would be played at the football center. As for the weather, it was sunny.
This time Serhiy Rebrov used two different squads again. Defender Mykyta Burda and forward Dmytro Khlyobas didn’t take the field.
Kyivans totally controlled the game, but Benfica have turned to be a toughie. Before the break Younes Belhanda was especially active.
In the second half the situation didn’t change, but the White-Blues couldn’t score. Still a minute before the time Benfica defender fouled against Serhiy Sydorchuk inside the penalty area and referee awarded penalty for Dynamo. Oleh Husiev hit the target from the spot.
After the final whistle Angolan side asked Serhiy Rebrov’s men for a penalty shootout as they wanted to practice it before the Angolan Super Cup. Every Benfica shot was a success. As for Kyivans, Jeremain Lens didn’t score.
Anyway, the final score of the game is 1:0 for Dynamo.
